Since I know many on my journal do writing

I came across this in one of the forums that I read.

If your into writing short stories and such I would suggest checking out this website http://1000keyboards.com/

Its basically setup like Youtube, but for short stories. You can add fan fiction as well which I know a bunch of people like to do. I will be adding my new story that I am working on there when it is complete.

I have to say, I really don't get this. What does this site offer that a good crit group or a paying webzine doesn't?

No clue, as I don't follow the writing market. Most likely another place for people to post fanfic, or for those that don't have crit groups.

There are crit groups readily available online. Criters and OWW are the two I know about through friends' experience. I guess my concern is that original fiction is not much like fanfic in a few important ways, and I'd want different crits on the two.

Thanks for the link.

I think I will dust off the story I started and finish it up and put it up there.
